Younger than springtime...

Ok, maybe it wasn’t THAT long ago… just feels like another lifetime…  My fourth  movie, and first union gig, “Honey I Blew up the Kid”… I got to design some of Wayne Zalinski’s gadgets, and was primary designer for “Big Bunny”, the stuffed rabbit that Wayne’s son has with him when he is zapped.  It grows bigger and bigger as he does.  Comedy ensues.  Big Bunny was definitely influenced by the muppets… as that’s how I originally thought about him… and lucky too, cause it was the Henson Creature shop that wound up building him…(in his various sizes)… somewhere I have a picture of me with the 18 foot tall version…

As Winston Zeddemore might say, that’s a *big* bunny.

Did Kevin Clash do the voice of Big Bunny when it was singing twinkle little star? Bcuz it sounded like Elmo’s voice

No, that wasn’t Kevin Clash… it was definitely all Rick Moranis… (I was on set and saw him doing it… so there. lol)

And, Pam… I wish I knew… I’ve never seen any around, they never manufactured them for stores… I was lucky enough to get one of them from the Producer of the movie… and he is safe here with me…
