For some reason, (I’m not sure why…) I wasn’t asked to contribute to the next Ships of the Line Calendar this time… even though I’ve done all but the first 2 of them… so, I guess that’s how it goes. Here’s what I would have done… boring yes… but god, I love it.
Why not more TOS stuff? You’re blessed enough to be good at something you enjoy, and something that we all enjoy too. If you ever feel the need to share random renders with us, please feel free.
Who knows why companies make the decisions they do, but thanks for sharing it with us in this manner! It is awesome and one cane never have too many images like this of the Big E! No bloody A, B, C, D, E, F, G, etc. (But I do like the ST:TMP refit, so it’s not fair to lump it in with the others, but I say like Scotty did.)
I thought everyone would like to know that Star Trek III: The Search For Spock Complete Score is available for preorder from Film Score Monthly/Screen Archives Entertainment. It is a 2 disc set featuring the complete film score ( including the film versions of ” Klingons ” and ” Stealing the Enterprise “. Disc 2 is the fully remastered album version of the score released in 84′.

Daren,
You wanted to know when I posted a Starlog article that had the VFX people in a shot with the ship model. Check this post out and see if that is the one you were talking about.

Daren:
That’s a beautiful image. A shot of the old grey lady herself can never be boring, especially not one executed with such care and experience.
Like Jim Kirk, that’s the girl I fell in love with – and it’s always great to see her just how I remember her.
You should hang a copy on the wall next to that book cover art I identified for you last year
